Description

Radetec Diagnostics produces core-shell CdSe and cadmium-free quantum dots conjugated to secondary antibodies (such as anti-mouse, anti-biotin and anti-rabbit antibodies) or other proteins, including streptavidin and enzymes.

Applications of bioconjugated quantum dots include flow cytometry, long-term cell and tissue imaging, cell tracking and multicolour analysis. When the target molecule is biotinylated, EasyConj^TM quantum dots functionalised with anti-biotin antibodies provide better control compared to using streptavidin (a tetramer with four binding sites for biotin).
