Description
Quantum dots are semiconductor nanoparticles with size-dependent optical and electronic properties. They measure from 4 to 10 nanometers in size and are bright fluorescent emitters. Organic soluble quantum dots manufactured by Radetec Diagnostics have high quantum yield (85%-95%), narrow optical emission spectra and long shelf-life. They are soluble in most organic solvents and ideal for monolayers preparation. Organic soluble quantum dots are ideal candidates for applications such as solid state light emitting devices (LED), solar cells, optoelectronic devices and luminescent solar concentrators (LSC).
Radetec Diagnostics can produce core-shell quantum dots (with CdSe cores or Cd-free), emitting in most wavelengths of the visibile and NIR range. Each batch of quantum dots is characterised via TEM, UV-Vis and fluorescence, to ensure its quality.
